At Casa Bellavista you can enjoy:
An exposure to the true Tuscan way of life
Home-cooked Tuscan breakfasts
Swimming pool with superb views of rolling hills
Optional sunrise ballooning, authentic Italian cooking classes and other memorable activities
Set on a tranquil hill, Casa Bellavista offers beautiful views of a rolling landscape with vineyards and olive groves. It is a short distance from the medieval town of Cortona, and is a good touring centre for seeing Tuscany’s other enchanting historical towns.
The three beautiful bedrooms are in the annexe of the family home. They are well-appointed and furnished to a high standard with fine antique furniture. In particular, Camera Rosa has a pretty French balcony which offers delightful views of the Bellavista estate and the rolling hills beyond.
Casa Bellavista is thus ideal for honeymooners and other couples who wish to enjoy an intimate, peaceful stay and to have direct contact with local people.
Fine dining and cooking classes at Casa Bellavista
Although the accommodation is primarily on a bed-and-breakfast basis, on request Simonetta will cook dinner for you. Her extensive repertoire includes a sumptuous chicken dish favoured by Catherine d’Medici, served with fine Tuscan wine selected by Guido, who is a wine enthusiast.
If you would like an authentic and unforgettable cooking class, Simonetta will draw on her wealth of culinary experience to guide you in creating the most exquisite Tuscan dishes.

Cortona and nearby Tuscan treasures
Casa Bellavista is a ten minute drive from the enchanting walled town of Cortona. Cortona comes to life in the evening but even during the day you can enjoy some of the cuisine that Tuscany has to offer, such as the sumptuous and famous T-bone steak produced in the nearby valleys from the famous Chianciano white cows. Further afield, you have many other not-to-be-missed towns such as the stunning town of Siena, and the unique wine-towns of Montepulciano, Pienza and Montalcino.
